Sea Swirl A merpony custom

Her tail and side fin were sculpted from foil and colored sculpey. Each individual scale was placed by hand. Her tail was made from wire and fantasy film and then covered in micro beads and light blue glitter. Her tail was then sealed with Sculpey glaze in gloss.

Her swirls and eyes were handpainted with artist acrylics and sealed with modpodge gloss for a wet look.

She was rehaired with nylon hair in Napalm (from Dollyhair) and turquoise. It was then styled in swirls on top and a bun in the back and pinned into place with silver head pins.
