Description
This little baby started life as a mcdonalds G3.5. All hair and paint was removed to create a blank canvas for me to use. Plastic tails were removed by exacto knives and dremel tool.
She is part of the Rainbow Baby Kirin set.
All sculpting (tail, scales, furry feet, horns and cloven hoofs) was done with Apoxie Sculpt and sanded to be as smooth as possible.
She was given a full body paint in orange and sealed with matte sealer (testors dullcote). Her scales, furry feet and eyes were painted in a combination of acrylics and inks and sealed with gloss sealer.
She was rehaired in hand dyed (by me) mohair to match her color scheme.
She has pearls and crystals in various shades of orange around her body to mimic additional scales.
